GRIT Appliance Service provides a one year limited warranty on parts and labor for repairs performed by our technicians, subject to the terms and conditions below.
Coverage Period
The warranty period is one year from the date of service as listed on the original invoice.
What Is Covered
This warranty covers defects in parts supplied by GRIT Appliance Service and workmanship performed by our technicians under normal residential use.
If a covered part fails due to a manufacturing defect or installation issue within the warranty period, GRIT Appliance Service will repair or replace the part at no additional labor charge.
Dryer Heating Element Warranty Requirement
For dryer heating element replacements, the customer must provide proof of a professional dryer vent cleaning performed within the last 12 months.
Acceptable proof includes a paid invoice or receipt from a professional dryer vent cleaning service.
Failure to provide valid proof of dryer vent cleaning will void the warranty on the dryer heating element. This requirement exists due to the increased risk of overheating and premature failure caused by restricted airflow.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover failures caused by restricted or improper airflow, including clogged or partially clogged dryer vents, crushed or excessively long vent runs, improper vent materials, or lack of routine maintenance.
The warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, neglect, electrical or gas supply issues, acts of God, normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or issues unrelated to the original repair.
Third party service calls, diagnostic fees, and labor performed by anyone other than GRIT Appliance Service are not covered under this warranty.
Service Limitations
Warranty service must be performed by GRIT Appliance Service. The warranty is non transferable and applies only to the original customer at the service address listed on the invoice.
Trip charges may apply for warranty visits depending on location and access.
Proof and Verification
GRIT Appliance Service reserves the right to inspect the appliance and related systems before approving any warranty claim. Documentation may be required prior to scheduling warranty service.
